Wedge, parallel slide and knife gate. SS316, brass, carbon steel and exotic alloys. Engineered for full-bore on/off isolation — straight-through flow when open, zero-leak shut-off when closed. Manufactured in Jubail.
A gate valve is a linear-motion isolation valve. Turn the handwheel — a wedge or slab "gate" rises out of the flow path; the bore opens fully. Turn it back — the gate slides back down between two seats; the line is shut. Either fully open, or fully closed. Nothing in between.
That binary character is the point. Gate valves are not for throttling — they're for isolation. Specified anywhere a process line needs a clean, low-pressure-drop, full-bore on/off: pipeline block points, tank outlets, pump suction, instrument hook-ups upstream of needle valves, oil & gas service, gas distribution, sanitary lines.
Each gate type is engineered for a specific service. Specify by application — we'll match the right wedge, seat and operator combination.
The default. One-piece tapered wedge seats between two angled seats. Strong, simple, reliable across most services.
Wedge with a small relief cut allowing minor flex — accommodates thermal distortion. Preferred for steam and high-temp service.
Two parallel discs forced apart by line pressure. Self-cleaning, low-torque, excellent for steam and gas isolation.
Sharp-edged blade designed to slice through slurries, fibrous media, sludge. Compact face-to-face. Wafer or lugged body.
Through-conduit gate with a bore matching the line. Used on pipelines & pig-launching service. API 6D compatible.
Eight components. One job: open and close cleanly. Below — the labelled cross-section every plant engineer learns first.
Standard ICCL gate valve range. Visualised below at proportional bore. Larger sizes (8"–24") and special pressure classes are engineered to order.
Specify the alloy that suits your service — from cost-effective brass for water and instrument air, to corrosion-grade duplex for sour-service hydrocarbon. All shipped with EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2 material certificates.
The all-rounder. Standard for instrumentation, chemical, mildly corrosive service.
Cost-effective for water, instrument air, low-pressure utility service.
High-pressure hydrocarbon service. Low-temp variant for cold service.
Saline, sea-water and sour-service. Excellent in chloride-rich environments.
Highly aggressive chemical service — wet chlorine, hypochlorite, mixed acids.
Sour-gas, offshore, NACE-compliant — high strength + corrosion resistance.
High-temp + corrosive. Refining service, exhaust streams, exotic applications.
Titanium, Alloy 20, custom forging — to project specification.
Standard configurations below. Higher pressure classes, special end connections, fire-safe and fugitive-emission certified versions on request.
Wellhead, separator, GOSP, sour-service block valves on hydrocarbon lines.
Tank farm isolation, pump suction/discharge, utility headers, instrument hook-ups.
Boiler feedwater, steam isolation, condensate, RO/MED desalination plants.
Slab gates on transmission lines, gas distribution block points, pig launcher isolation.
