What is an instrument manifold?

A manifold valve consolidates the isolation, equalisation and venting functions needed by a pressure or differential pressure (DP) transmitter into a single compact body. Instead of plumbing three or five separate valves into the impulse lines, the manifold bolts straight to the transmitter — one assembly, one mount, one source of truth for material certs.

The result: faster hook-up, tighter footprint, fewer leak paths, and a defined service procedure for calibration, zero-checks and start-up. Standard configurations are 2-valve (gauge / static pressure), 3-valve (DP transmitter — block, block, equalize) and 5-valve (DP transmitter with vent and additional block-and-bleed).

Each configuration is offered with NPT, BSPT, BSPP or socket-weld process ends, and IEC 61518 transmitter flange — so it lands on whatever your specification calls for.

Series MV-200

2-Valve Manifold

One block valve plus one vent / test valve. Mounts on single-port pressure gauges and static pressure transmitters. The simplest manifold in the line — and the workhorse of any well-instrumented plant.

3-Valve Manifold

Two block valves plus one equalize valve. The standard hook-up for differential pressure transmitters: isolate both impulse lines, equalize for zero-check, then re-open in the correct sequence to protect the diaphragm.

5-Valve Manifold

Two blocks, two vents, one equalize. Adds individual vent & bleed valves to each impulse line — for in-place calibration, sample-out and instrument removal without breaking process containment. Often specified for hazardous, sour, or critical service.

[04] Mounting

Direct mount, remote mount, or hybrid.

Every ICCL manifold is offered in three mounting variants. Specify in your RFQ — we ship with the correct adapter, gasket and mounting bolts.

Direct Mount

Manifold bolts straight to the transmitter via IEC 61518 flange pattern. Eliminates impulse piping, reduces leak paths, and is the lowest-cost installation.

Manifold installed away from the transmitter — connected by impulse tubing. Used where the transmitter must be located away from heat, vibration or hazardous zones.

2-valve = one block + one vent. Used with single-port pressure gauges and static pressure transmitters.

Will ICCL manifolds fit a Rosemount or Yokogawa transmitter? +
Yes. ICCL manifolds use the IEC 61518 bolting pattern with 54 mm impulse-line centres — the universal standard for direct-mount DP and pressure transmitters. They fit Rosemount 3051/2051, Yokogawa EJX/EJA, Honeywell ST series, Emerson, Endress+Hauser Deltabar/Cerabar, ABB 266/2600T, Siemens SITRANS, Foxboro IDP/IGP and other major OEMs.
What's the correct operating sequence for a 3-valve manifold? +
Start-up: open equalize, open both blocks, close equalize.
Zero-check: close blocks, open equalize, read transmitter zero, close equalize, re-open blocks.
Shutdown: close blocks, open equalize, vent before removing transmitter. The equalize-first / open-blocks-second sequence prevents one-sided overpressure on the DP cell.
Do you supply manifold accessories — gaskets, bolts, vent fittings? +
Yes — every ICCL manifold ships complete with the correct PTFE gaskets, mounting bolts and vent fittings. Optional accessories include calibration test ports, pigtails for steam service, and OS&Y handles for tagged isolation.
Are ICCL manifolds NACE / sour service compliant? +
Yes. NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 compliant materials are available on all configurations, with full PMI testing and 3.2 documentation supplied for sour-service projects.
What's the lead time? +
Standard 2/3/5-valve manifolds in SS316 with NPT or BSP ends: ex-stock to 1 week from Jubail. Exotic alloys (Hastelloy, Monel, Duplex), special connections or 3.2 documentation: 4–6 weeks.
